Andy’s Auto Service, in participation with Bridgeville Police Department, is now holding Interactive Workshops for soon-to-be and new drivers!
Interactive Workshops are to be held in a very cool and raw environment, our automotive shop. The goal is to offer valuable information and tools that allow students to become a more responsible and safe driver, as well as prepare them for the unexpected with hands-on learning. This experience, being outside of a classroom environment, is meant to be unique and memorable.
Upon completion of this Workshop, participants will be able to:
- Change a Flat Tire
- Jump Start a Car
- Understand the Basic Fundamentals of the Engine
- Check and Refill Engine Fluids
- Understand What to do in the Event of an Accident
- Understand What to do During a Police Interaction
- And more…
Special guest, Bridgeville Police Officer will speak on key topics such as “The importance of NOT drinking and NOT texting while driving” and “What to expect if/when stopped by an officer”.
Upon completion of the Interactive Workshop, students will sign a “Road Safety Promise” and receive a “New Driver Package”.
